Colossians 1:15-20
Luke 20:20-26

Jesus for President …
Imagine with me if Jesus
were President.  What would
be the impact and how
would our politics be
different?   Tuesday is
Election Day and Americans
will be casting their vote.
If the past is a good
indicator of the future,
we know that regardless
of who wins, our nation
will continue to be divided
on the role of government
in our lives.  This division
and debate has flowed
over into the church. How
does our faith affect our
politics?  We know from
Scripture that when Jesus
is our Lord and Savior,
we are given a new way
of doing life together that
creates unity.  Jesus shared
a vision for a type of
community that is formed
in loving our neighbor
regardless of our political
persuasion.  And Jesus
invites you and me to join
him in bringing heaven to
earth and making the
Kingdom of God a reality
right here and now.

Ephesians 5:21-33
Galatians 3:26-28

Marriage is a gift from God,
a sacred relationship that
offers intimacy and
community like none other.
But for any relationship to
flourish, we know it takes
love, grace, commitment,
and a good sense of humor,
just to name a few! Whether
we are married, hope to
marry or have been married,
God has something to teach
us from His Word about this
sacred relationship and why
marriage is a metaphor for
the relationship between
Christ and His Church.

John 4:1-30

We live in a world that
is searching for meaning and
purpose.  All of us at one
time or another have asked
those life defining questions,
why am I here, and where am
I going?  There is a thirst that
we all long to quench.
Something inside us moves
us to believe that this thirst
can be satisfied.  So I guess
the question is where do you
go when you need a drink?
Join us this Sunday, as we hear
a story of a women who shared
that same thirst and discovered
Jesus' gift of living water.  In all worship experiences, we will have
the opportunity to bless and pray
for those traveling to Haiti next
week to alleviate suffering and
be the hands and feet of Jesus
in real ways.
